Super Enalotto

Italy's Super Enalotto aka “Massiccio Lotteria” which literally translates to Massive Lottery boasts some huge Jackpots. It is easily the most popular Lottery in Italy and one of Europe’s most popular lotteries. Italy is no stranger to national lotteries. Prior to SuperEnalotto in its current form, its origins date back to the 1950s where it ran successfully under the same name of Enalotto.

Underlining its status as a truly nationwide game, the winning numbers were initially taken from the first numbers drawn in regional lotteries from around the country, with the results from Bari, Florence, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, and Venice all contributing to the final selection. This was changed in 2009, and now the numbers drawn in SuperEnalotto are independent of the regional lotteries.

SuperEnalotto relaunched and rejuvenated in its current form in December 1997. With its current popularity and system of a three draw week. Its jackpots can! and have! risen very fast as multiple rollovers occur in very quick succession. Such is the attraction of this Italian treasure!

SuperEnalotto is currently operated by Sisal, they also operate SiVinceTutto, Win For Life, and VinciCasa.

The first draw was held on 3rd December 1997

How Instant win works

Each SuperEnalotto official ticket has a second chance instant win game on it called the Magic Square (Quadrato Magico).

On each ticket, the Quadrato Magico will display four numbers. If any of these match up to any of the numbers that you have selected for the main game then you win an instant prize of €25. Even if your Magic Square numbers exist across several lines. So the more lines you purchase, the more chance you have of winning the instant win prize.

You can now check your ticket with our new ticket download feature. You can do this by going to My Account, My Transactions, expand the detail next to the transaction and there will be an option to Download Ticket. This will save a scanned copy of the physical ticket you have purchased for a particular draw to your device.

If you win an instant win prize, it will be credited directly to your player account.

Roughly one ticket in every 500 will win an instant win prize, accounting for about 8.4% of the prize pool money. You can only win one instant win prize with each ticket.

What do I do if I win?

If your account has been verified simply proceed to your account and withdraw your winnings. You can do this by creating a Withdrawal request. To do this go to My Account, Withdraw Funds, Enter the amount that you would like to withdraw, with any additional information in the description box (if you would like). Then press send. There is no fee for a withdrawal of funds.

If you have not already nominated a valid bank account to receive winnings, you will need to do so. This can be done by going to My Account, Bank details, edit, enter your details, and select save.

How are the prizes paid?

All winnings are paid directly into the player's One Pound Lotto account.

In order to withdraw prizes over £4,000, Fatt Mountain Ltd may require that you pass additional identity checks to confirm that you are who you say you are and that you meet the One Pound Lotto minimum age requirement of 18 years old. Additional checks are at Fatt Mountain Ltd's discretion. Failure to comply may result in winnings not being paid or delayed.

All winnings across all games will have to be claimed within 60 days.

We do not believe in the practice of “annuity” (the payment of a large prize over a fixed period of roughly 30years) as many other sites do. All of our prizes will be paid in full to the winners nominated account, within 60 days of the winners being verified as a genuine winner by One Pound Lottery Ltd. However some of the official lotteries do practice annuity on their advertised jackpots. Hence we advertise our jackpots based on theirs. Currently, the only lotteries that we advertise that practice this are the US Powerball and US Megamillions. To find out more about how they work this out please read more info on the US Powerball and Megamillions pages.

Are my winnings tax-free?

As of 1st March 2020, the Italian Government has levied a 20% tax on any SuperEnalotto prize over €500.

If you wish to try a tax-free lottery, please try our German 6/49 Lotto .
